Total Artificial Heart – 50 cm3 is intended for smaller patients, including most females, some males and most teenagers with an end-stage biventricular heart failure when the both heart sides are not capable of supplying the whole body with blood.
This system replaces patient’s heart permanently or till donor heart is found. The artificial heart ensures fast and safe blood flow for recovery of vital organs and, consequently, for and easier transplantation of a donor heart.
